Fiesta C asked: We are planning to move to London this fall/winter and are investigating how we can get our 80lb dog there. I’m really hesitant to put him on a plane as cargo. I wish I could pay for a seat for him.
Anyway, I’ve heard that people have chartered flights (the unused leg) for this purpose - anyone have info on it? Also, I read that there’s a cruise ship that allows smaller dogs - the Cunard, but I think our dog is too big.
Anyone have a private jet or yaht that I could borrow?

Any other suggestions?

asked: I am going to be travelling from Billings, MT, to Washington D.C. on July 29 (I would like to leave early in the morning), and will be returning on August 4 (I would like to return fairly late at night). I would also like a helicopter to take me to my final destination, but I do not need to. Afterwards, it would be nice if the Jet company had a limousine service (I am 15, so it is not legal for my parents to rent a car for me, and I **** public transportation) I am going to charter a private jet. As of now, only I will be going, but I may bring a friend. Which charter companies have worked for you? Which should I avoid? any help is appreciated, thank you.

Rebel Eye Kayne asked: Look at this neat picture! It is real and untouched from the NASA website of a jet traveling faster than the speed of sound. The plane is half engulfed in a strange cloud made from the sonic boom! I swear to you on my bible that there are no virus’s in this link.
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap030504.html
Since travelling faster than sound can cause an actual physical cloud and sonic boom, can it possibly alter time and space and maybe bring you into another dimension kind of like that Steven King book, The Langolians or whatever the name of it was?

nano asked: Note: Not a typical how do I be a pilot question.
I was wondering what the corporate/business aviation field ‘looked like’, in terms of current and projected pay changes over the years, job openings and projected changes over the years and so on and so forth…
Also, how is life as a corporate, or charter pilot, focusing on jets and turboprops used for executive travel (e.g. the King Air).
Everyone wants to fly for airliners and want to fly the largest, most expensive things in the sky but I can’t help but think that you get the best of both worlds (private flying and flying for airlines) flying business jets… And that its the best option for me.
Also, would you stop at the CPL license or would you go to ATPL for hiring sake. And how much did you pay for it (wouldn’t mind the location of the training, either)
Also, how much would type-ratings cost for small, medium and large sized aircraft…
Quite a bit of a request, I know, bare with me please. Can never know too much…
P.S. Also been thinking about MedEvac…

Joseph A asked: Hello all, new to this site and wondered if any of you could help in this matter. The course is in starting a business in the private jet charter based in Europe and wondered if any of you could suggest some sites that could go online to get a better idea of how to fix the "office" rear to take care of the paperwork and admin. Or advice or sites to establish a brokerage? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone! Sorry … I meant to add a "brokerage" as operator.

me_iitd asked: When rocket travels through space with no medium, from which object it gets thrust. Jet airplanes get the thrust from air. They push air backwards and air push them forward. Newtons third law of motion.
Thanks signal_e. But firstly I am not talking about air as oxygen perspective. There has to be oxygen on board to support combustion. Now back to question, when jet airplanes expel their combustion high pressure gases outside. The air there opposes to them to come out, since combustion gases displaces air. But in space there is no air (or anythig else) to resist. The HP gases may just get ****** in the vacuum putting the rocket on stall. When rockets are invented one great engineer said (I forgot his name), “rockets will not work in space, since there is no medium to push them.” But he was wrong when rockets really travelled in space.
