I have been on two charter flights. One going to Dominican Republic and the other to the Bahamas and all went well.
Charter flights can be risky. If they aren’t full they can cancel that flight. But the same for a regular jet. But they always put you on another flight.
You know what, I would not worry about it. Everything will work out just fine. You have enough to worry about with the wedding.
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and have a great honeymoon.

jet charter
Charter flights are like an add on to the schedule. If the flight is not full it can be cancelled or delayed until they can sell it out. Also, should you encounter a maintenance delay you sit until they get the parts to fix and send you on…they do not send another plane to get you to destination. With regular flights another plane is pulled into service if there’s a maintenance issue and because ots a scheduled flight, you go when its scheduled to go…

A charter flight can be operated by a well known airline. There are some small airlines that only offer charter service and I would be more skeptical on flying with them. I have been on two charter flights operated by well known airlines and I did not have any problems.
